Refer a Friend Terms

1. About Refer a Friend

The Body Mind Worldwide Refer a Friend Program allows eligible users to invite friends to Body Mind Worldwide using their personal referral link or QR code.

When an eligible friend uses the referral invitation and makes their first qualifying Booking of €75 or more, the friend receives a €5 discount and the referring user may earn a €5 referral reward, subject to these Refer a Friend Terms.

Participation in the program is voluntary. By sharing or using a referral invitation, you agree to these Refer a Friend Terms and the applicable Body Mind Worldwide Terms and Conditions.

The Refer a Friend Program is intended for referring new Customers. Referrals of wellness professionals, businesses, retreat hosts or other potential Partners are governed separately by the Refer a Partner Program.

2. Who can participate

To participate as a referrer, you must have an eligible Body Mind Worldwide account and comply with these Refer a Friend Terms and our Terms and Conditions.

The person you refer must be a new Customer who has not previously made a Booking through Body Mind Worldwide.

A referral may be rejected where the referred person does not meet the applicable requirements or where we reasonably determine that the referral is not genuine or eligible.

You may not refer yourself or create or use additional, duplicate or false accounts to obtain referral discounts or rewards.

3. How a qualifying referral works

For a referral to qualify:

• the friend must use the referrer’s personal referral link or QR code;
• the referral must be correctly attributed to the referrer through the Platform;
• the friend must make their first eligible Booking through Body Mind Worldwide;
• the Booking must have a Booking Price of at least €75 before application of the €5 referral discount;
• the Booking must be successfully paid and completed; and
• the Booking and referral must remain eligible throughout the applicable review period.

A Booking that is cancelled, refunded, reversed, charged back, fraudulent or otherwise invalid does not qualify for a referral reward.

4. €5 discount for your friend

An eligible referred friend receives €5 off their first qualifying Booking of €75 or more.

The discount is applied through the Platform when the referral has been correctly recognized and the Booking meets the applicable requirements.

The referral discount:

• applies only to the referred friend’s first qualifying Booking;
• cannot be exchanged for cash;
• cannot be transferred to another account or person; and
• cannot be used in a way that would reduce the Booking below any applicable minimum required by the promotion.

Unless expressly stated otherwise, referral discounts cannot be combined with other promotions, discounts or promotional credits where the Platform does not allow such combinations.

5. €5 referral reward

When an eligible friend completes a qualifying Booking, the referring user may earn a €5 referral reward.

The reward is not immediately final when the Booking is made or completed. It remains subject to the 14-day review period described below.

A referral reward is personal to the eligible account to which it was awarded.

Unless expressly stated otherwise or required by applicable law, referral rewards are not redeemable for cash, cannot be transferred to another person or account and may only be used in the manner made available through the Platform.

6. 14-day review period

After the referred friend has completed the qualifying Booking, a 14-day review period begins.

During this period, Body Mind Worldwide may verify that the Booking and referral meet the requirements of the Refer a Friend Program.

This may include checking whether the Booking was genuine and completed, whether a cancellation, refund, chargeback or payment reversal occurred and whether there are indications of fraud, duplicate accounts, self-referral or other misuse.

If the referral remains eligible after the review period, the €5 referral reward is confirmed.

If the Booking or referral becomes ineligible during the review period, the reward may not be issued or confirmed.

7. Cancellations, refunds and chargebacks

A referral reward is intended only for a genuine and successfully completed qualifying Booking.

If the qualifying Booking is cancelled before completion, the referral reward will not be earned.

If a Booking is refunded, reversed or subject to a successful chargeback, Body Mind Worldwide may cancel, withhold or, where permitted by applicable law, reverse a related referral reward.

The referred friend’s rights to a refund are determined by the cancellation and refund conditions applicable to the Booking and by mandatory law. These Refer a Friend Terms do not reduce those rights.

A refund does not create a right to an additional cash payment for the value of a referral discount or promotional reward unless required by applicable law.

8. Referral links and permitted sharing

Your referral link or QR code is intended to allow you to invite genuine friends and personal contacts to Body Mind Worldwide.

You may share your referral invitation through ordinary personal communication, including messaging, email and social media.

You must not use referral invitations in a misleading, deceptive, unlawful or abusive way.

In particular, you must not:

• send unsolicited bulk messages or spam;
• misrepresent your relationship with Body Mind Worldwide;
• pretend to act on behalf of Body Mind Worldwide; or
• use referral links in paid advertising or other commercial promotion without our prior permission.

9. Fraud, misuse and self-referrals

The Refer a Friend Program must not be used to artificially generate discounts or rewards.

Prohibited conduct includes:

• referring yourself;
• creating or controlling multiple accounts to obtain rewards;
• using false identities or account information;
• manipulating Bookings to trigger rewards;
• arranging fake or non-genuine Bookings;
• repeatedly cancelling or refunding Bookings for the purpose of obtaining referral benefits;
• buying, selling or exchanging referral rewards or referral accounts; and
• otherwise attempting to circumvent the rules or technical controls of the program.

Where we reasonably suspect fraud, misuse or a violation of these terms, we may investigate the referral and temporarily withhold the relevant reward while the review is taking place.

Body Mind Worldwide may refuse, cancel, correct or, where legally permitted, reverse benefits obtained through fraud or misuse.

10. Referral rewards and restrictions

Referral discounts and rewards are promotional benefits and are subject to the conditions shown on the Platform and in these terms.

Body Mind Worldwide may refuse, cancel, correct or reverse a referral discount or reward where it was issued because of an error, duplicate transaction, ineligible referral, fraud, misuse or other violation of these terms, to the extent permitted by applicable law.

Any validity period or additional use restriction that applies to a referral reward will be shown to the user before or when the reward is issued.

You are responsible for any taxes that may legally apply to referral rewards you receive, except where Body Mind Worldwide is required by law to collect, withhold or report them.

11. Changes or termination of the program

Body Mind Worldwide may change, pause or end the Refer a Friend Program, including the reward amount, minimum Booking value, eligibility requirements or other program conditions.

Where required by law, we will provide appropriate notice of material changes.

Changes will not unfairly remove a referral reward that has already been validly confirmed, unless correction is necessary because of fraud, misuse, an error or another lawful reason.

Body Mind Worldwide may restrict or end an individual user’s participation in the program where there is a reasonable basis to believe that the user has violated these terms or misused the program.

12. Relationship with our other terms

These Refer a Friend Terms apply in addition to the Body Mind Worldwide Terms and Conditions and Privacy & Cookie Policy.

The Terms and Conditions continue to apply to accounts, use of the Platform and Bookings made through Body Mind Worldwide.

Our Privacy & Cookie Policy explains how we process personal data in connection with accounts, referrals, Bookings, communications, fraud prevention and other Platform activities.

If specific promotional conditions are shown for a particular referral campaign, those conditions also apply to that campaign.

These Refer a Friend Terms are governed by Dutch law, without limiting any mandatory consumer rights that apply under the law of the country where you live.

Nothing in these terms limits rights that cannot legally be excluded or restricted.
